Social Notifications
Posts in your server when a creator uploads, goes live or writes something new.
Platforms
- YouTube: use the channel ID, the one that starts with
UC. It’s under About → Share → Copy channel ID. - Twitch: the username. The server running Nolvyn needs Twitch keys for this one.
- RSS: any feed URL, for blogs, news sites and most other things.
- Kick (Premium): the channel name. Needs Kick keys on the server, like Twitch.
- Bluesky (Premium): the handle, like
name.bsky.social. Reposts and replies are skipped.
How checking works
Feeds are checked about every 5 minutes. The first check only notes what’s already there, so adding a feed never dumps a week of old posts into your channel. If a lot happened at once, Nolvyn posts the newest few.
Write the message with {name}, {title} and {url}. You can mention a role, like @Notifications, and it will ping.
Free servers get 3 feeds, Premium gets 25. If a check fails, the dashboard shows why next to the feed.
