Automations

When something happens, check a few things, then do something. No code.

This whole module needs Premium.

How a rule works

Each rule has one trigger, up to 5 conditions and up to 5 actions.

  • Triggers: a member joins or leaves, a message is sent (anywhere or in one channel), a message contains a keyword, a role is added, a member reaches a level, or a timer every so many minutes (15 at least).
  • Conditions: the member has a role, doesn’t have a role, the message is in a channel, or the account is younger than some number of days.
  • Actions: send a message to a channel, the same channel, or the member’s DMs; add a role; remove a role; delete the message.

Examples

  • When someone gets the Verified role, remove Unverified and say hello in #general.
  • When a message contains “discord.gg” in #art, delete it.
  • Every 24 hours, post a reminder in #events.

The dashboard won’t let you save rules that can’t work, like deleting a message on a timer, and it tells you why.
