Moderation

Bans, kicks, timeouts and warnings, each one written down as a numbered case.

Cases

Every action, from a warning to a ban, becomes a case with a number, the member, the moderator, the reason and the time. Cases are posted to your mod log channel and you can search them on the Moderation page.

Use /case 12 to pull one up, or /modlogs @member to see someone’s whole history before you decide what to do.

Temporary bans

Add a duration to /ban, like 7d or 12h, and Nolvyn lifts the ban on its own when the time is up. If you change your mind, /unban also cancels the timer.

Settings

Moderator roles: members with these roles can use the moderation commands even without the Discord permission behind them. Adding a moderator role needs Manage Roles, every moderation permission, and a role above it yourself.
Log channel: where cases are posted. Leave it empty to use the log channel from Settings.
DM members: tells the member what happened and why. On by default.
Require a reason: moderators can’t act without writing one.
Preset reasons: up to 25 reasons that show up as suggestions in the commands.

Warnings

/warn adds a warning case. /warnings lists the active ones, and /delwarn revokes one if it was a mistake. Revoked warnings stay in the history, marked as revoked.

Commands

/ban user [reason] [delete_messages] [duration]
Ban a user. Add a duration like 7d for a temporary ban that lifts itself.

Unban a user and cancel any temporary ban timer.

Kick a member.
